Repaint Fire Hydrants
Location: Route 32 between X and Y.
Description:
Repainting of existing fire hydrants where loss of paint has resulted in rusted appearance. Volunteers needed to brush existing hydrants and apply new paint provided by the Town of Greenville, following provided instructions.
Benefits:
• Freshly painted hydrants are part of a clean, well-maintained community environment that speaks of activity and stability. These qualities attract investment in Greenville.
• Increased visibility in emergencies
• Provide protection against structural deterioration.

Repaint Sidewalk Curb and Steps
Location: Route 32 between X and Y.
Description:
Repainting of worn curbsides where paint has deteriorated. Volunteers needed to brush existing curbs and apply new paint provided by the Town of Greenville, following provided instructions.

Vanderbilt Park South Barn Renovation & Conversion
(A Community Partners Project)
Location: Vanderbilt Park
Description:
Renovation of South Barn involves light woodwork and painting to replace existing trim. Conversion of the East carriage extension of the barn into an open air pavilion involves removal of siding, removal of second floor, application of a new floor, and trimming of new openings.
Benefits:
• Creates a new shelter space for community use
• Preservation of a historic building belonging to Greenville’s farming heritage.
